Cab sharing company Ola has lost a top executive. The company’s chief financial officer Rajiv Bansal has quit, according to reports.
Television channel ET Now was the first to report this development earlier today. Pallav Singh, currently the VP operations at the company will replace Bansal. Techcircle had hinted at such a move earlier this month. FactorDaily had reached out to Ola earlier this week. At the time, the company denied the story.
Meanwhile, Ola’s publicity department has put out a press release of a new hire– Badri Raghavan as Chief Data Scientist, without any mention of Bansal’s exit.
Reasons for Bansal’s exit are unclear. He was hired by Ola, after his exit from IT major Infosys in October. Earlier this month, TechCircle had reported that Ola’s chief marketing officer (CMO) Raghuvesh Sarup and chief financial officer (CFO) Rajiv Bansal were likely to leave the company.
